Beihilfe aus dem Notfallfonds

Für ausländische Studierende kann die KHG Fulda beim Notfonds des Bistums Fulda eine finanzielle Unterstützung beantragen. Diese Unterstützung ist für Notlagen gedacht (z.B. Jobverlust, Krankheit, ungeplante Schwangerschaft...) und kann nur einmal pro Semester beantragt werden.
Die Hilfeleistung wird unabhängig von Religion oder Konfession gewährt. Kriterien für die Bewilligung der Nothilfe sind die Prüfung der Bedürftigkeit und die vorhandenen Mittel des Notfonds.
Nothilfeberechtigt ist nur, wer nicht bereits im selben Semester finanzielle Hilfe von einer anderen Stelle (z.B. Evangelische Studierendengemeinde) erhalten hat.
Um Nothilfe zu beantragen, vereinbaren Sie bitte ein Gespräch mit einem Mitarbeitenden der KHG. Sie benötigen dafür folgende Unterlagen:
- Ausweis
- Studienbescheinigung
- Leistungsnachweis
- aktueller Kontoauszug
- Kopie des Mietvertrags
- Lebenslauf (tabellarisch)
Außerdem können Sie das untenstehende Antragsformular bereits ausfüllen und zum Gespräch mitbringen.

Emergency aid
For international students, the KHG Fulda can apply for financial aid from the Emergency Fund of the Diocese of Fulda.
Financial aid can be granted in case of emergencies (e.g. loss of job, longterm illness, unplanned pregnancy etc.).
Only one application per semester is possible.
The applicant´s religious affiliation does not play a role in the process. The support depends on the severity of the emergency and the resources available in the Emergency Fund.
The application will only be approved if the applicant has not already received financial aid from another source (e.g. Evangelische Studierendengemeinde) during the same semester.
In order to apply for financial aid, please contact one of the KHG staff members for an interview. You will need the following documents:
- identity card
- certificate of study
- transcript of records
- statement of account
- a copy of your rental contract
- CV in tabular form

- Scholarship for a Master's degree or a PhD
- for international students from a developing or emerging country in Africa, Asia, the Middle East or Latin America.
What do we expect from you?
- you are already studying in Germany and have at least 10 months of study remaining.
- orientation of studies or research towards a permanent reintegration into the respective home region
- religious and social commitment or willingness to engage in inter-religious dialogue
- you have German language skills at least at a communication level.
Scholarship applications can be made exclusively through the KHG.
